One-time Thing - NARS x ADRIAN

Nars had spent the past two mornings routinely sniffing around the farthest Sioux perimeters – the ones that pointed toward the other, newer packs.

Where were all these new wolves coming from?

She recalled her meeting with Adrian, the cocky male who had seemed to think he could muss Sioux's scent borders all up... a tiny flash of teeth gave away Nars' grin. Something different and new from these simpleton males she'd been getting with as of late.

The black female paused, head raising as she checked her own den site. All was still fine, nothing was missing. Good.

Part of acting regent meant she had to be in the main den site much more now... she didn't care for the place but she certainly didn't mind it as much as she used to.

Adrian had stayed around Sioux lands, as he still had things to do around there, but after the last meeting with someone who had peaked his interest further, he had given a slack on, for reasons of course. He could recall every word she had said, and oh it was going to be satisfying to use them today for his own favour, he had planned this somewhat out, but different.

He had accepted the denial before, but today, a gap of time after, was new opportunities, and even the thought made his fur bristle.


Then again, he had watched the regular patrols, he knew where he could be to that and that times, he had yet been detected, which served him well, and now his itch had returned and he had waited long enough to get rid off it.


Stalking throughout the woods, he was hunting, but not for prey, he was using his skills of tracking, sneaking silently between the thick trees as he got closer, before he could assure she was close, he leaned against a tree, seeing the dark coated female look another way.


“ Missed me?”


He chuckled, letting his chuckle last longer and rumble a little between the shades of the trees before he made his way down to the female, but this time also making room for personal space, enough at least, standing firm with a small wink as a gesture of added to his greeting.

'Missed me?'

A smooth voice made Nars' tail flick as she turned around, one ear to the side and the other straight up. She flashed a grin.

“Couldn't help yourself, could you?” Nars said, sauntering over. “Couldn't stay away, huh?”

She waited this time for Adrian's response. The male clearly had an agenda, and while Nars was sure she had an idea of what it was, his infuriating games made her have to wait.

Sighing, she came to stand before him, tilting her head quizzically at the sandy male.

“Have you any real business for being here, today?”

Adrian chuckled again at the remark she made, oh this was going to be fun, and Interesting, as the female approached him, he didn't move a muscle, expect for his head.

“ Well….what was your words again?...’May I Haunt Your Dreams’?...I believe that's what you reffered to, Lady Nars….- and for the buisness….it depends on what your meaning of real Is...even though I think you know very well what it is….”

He stated, but he left his statement thus far off described to let it be space for more conclusions of his business then that one that would be the most common in such situations.

“ I have actually been to another pack border…..not Sioux...this one seemed..different, not far from here either...met a supposedly low rank member...didn't go so well….for them”

He scoffed, then looking at his right hind leg, where the medium sized gash was, before shaking the thought off, his attention brought back at the female.

“ You really need to start changing patrol routes, or make smaller ones inbetween randomly...to easy to get into the area without being noticed…”

He mumbled, his tail dashing, he was just commenting on his own downsides, or his entrance opportunities, but then, if this new pack was just as aggressive as the one he had met, they would need to reschedule.

“Oh?” Nars said in mock surprise. “And did I?” she grinned.

“Haunt your dreams?” She didn't bother to hold back when she slipped rather closely by Adrian.

“Ah, you've been to see our new neighbors?” Nars asked. Her eyes flit to his small injury – small, said Adrian, compared to his opponent.

“You poor thing,” the black female sighed, clearly not meaning it.

Nars smirked.

“We don't patrol to keep the likes of you out, we patrol to get an idea of who's sniffing about and then decide what to do with them. Mind,” Nars impressed, walking a short distance away, “I really cannot have you coming and staying in our territory so often. Much as I enjoy your visits.”

Nars looked Adrian up and down, an eyebrow lifted.

“You saying you want us to chase you out?” Nars wiggled her brows some more.

Adrian plainly stood silently, with his brows firmly raised, a small grin forming his lips from a straight line to one with curves, as he followed her with his eyes, not interrupting the woman before she was done, he had some, manners, but then again, some.

“ Perhaps…”

Rolling his eyes at her comment on his wound, to then see her smirk, made him more comfortable in a way, so she hadn’t forgot that part, good. his expression seemed to increase with her talking about the patrol, specially the last line, making him follow her slowly.

“ aww i'm flattered over that you enjoy my company…-But I can confess….- this time...I won’t leave before I get what I want…..last time It went too easy…..- When I’m done today, you won’t have the thought of chasing me out love….- you will rather be begging me to come back…..depending on how it goes…”

he smirked, but his voice seemed rather serious but with a playful edge to it, not that he was pure serious but a mix of both, but he stopped walking, just standing there still with space between.

“Here you told me you wanted nothing,” Nars drawled, peeking over at Adrian over her snout. His next words made her squirm.

“Oh really?” she breathed, looking at him intently.

“What'd you have in mind?”

She waited for him to say something or to make the next move. She left it up to him, tired of playing along and not being sure to get anything... it had been some time.

“....I did- but then...Everyone changes their minds…...don't they?”

he hummed, as he slowly approached her, but when she asked what he had in mind, he stopped for a brief second, before circling the other, before placing himself in front of her,
licking his own lips.

“ Whats the fun if I say? i have many things in my mind….a few involving you...but then it will just be fun ruining if i tell…..- But…..I’m a gentleman….and nothing will happen in the open dear…..I’m no savage…..more or less”

he chuckled, as he roughly brushed his own side around her in a quicker circling, before he looked around, he was maybe in a ‘mood’ but he wasn’t barbaric, he had standards to where he did things and not.

“ Because what would they say…...if someone found you in the bare open with a rogue?....- I like to keep things…..covered”

he teased, flicking his tail as he looked at her, he wasn’t going to leave with a denial this time that was for sure.

Nars rolled her eyes when Adrian returned to his games again.

Nothing will happen in the open? Nars smirked.

“Fine then – come with me,” she said, turning and leading the way toward Sioux's borders. “I have a place we can go and discuss... or whatever,” she said with an annoyed look, “in private.”

She hadn't brought anyone to her secret den in at least a moon, but she didn't care how the place looked.

She hesitated as Adrian infringed upon her space, wrapping himself about her. She smirked again, tail curling slightly.

“If anyone saw me 'in the open,' with a rogue,” she purred, head turning so her eyes met his, “they wouldn't give a damn, dear. That's the nice thing about you meeting me... I come with no responsibilities to anyone else.” She blinked, eyes still on Adrian's while he was close. She pushed herself into him a bit more.

“So,” she breathed, “I have a place... that the others don't know of. Where I bring my partners in such times as these.”

She turned away quickly, not giving Adrian the time to think or reply as she trotted into the woods, tail flicking in beckoning.

Adrian scoffed as he tilted his head the slightest, as he had a small hesitant thought of that she had no responsibilities, but he let his own comment slide as she started moving, making him follow almost automatically behind, but he seemed way more alert, not over the edge but enough for a normal rogue to be.


“ So you,have managed to keep a place safe from curious noses?....I'm Lightly Amused"


He commented, his ears flickering and changing direction as he followed the female, half of him warned him but he had a feeling that he wasn't going to regret it, or not for now at least.


“ Kind of interesting, no responsibilities but still had a secret place, but then I would have done the same…”

“Just lightly?” Nars replied, grinning as they walked, her pace brisk.

“I've had to do some poking around,” she explained, “finally found a place where most wolves don't bother snooping.”

As they rounded a bend in the foliage, Nars paused, the sound of water reaching their ears.

They were close.

Saying nothing, she continued, head ducked down in the brush, skimming pine boughs.

Soon, they arrived at an opening, where they stood along the riverbank, the water moving swiftly but quietly all the same. Above them was a small waterfall, its sounds pleasing enough as well as useful to cover any attention that may be drawn to the alcove Nars was headed toward.

Flicking her ears at Adrian, she led him up the brief climb to the top of the rocky ledge. She turned, glancing back out at the waterfall, its features easily visible from the small den she had made.

Adrian followed in silence, as he just took to look around, trying to save the images in his head.


Before they stood at a riverbank, making him tilt his  head to the side, he was going to comment but then Nars was on the move again, as she led him up the climb over the rock ledge before she seemed to look back, but not in sudden fright.


“ Lovely place…”


He finally a managed to form with a hushed breathe, his eyes gazing around, before he stretched out from the walk, before approaching Nars again, but this time he placed himself beside her, a bit behind her own head, letting his own nose surface over her neck, feeling his own deep breathes before he stopped, he needed her calm and eased, not because of what she thought she was getting but maybe something more, delightful.


His eyes seemed to seek some reaction, some answer, whilst his muzzle seemed confident and playful.

Adrian's sudden act of intimacy made Nars turn and look at him.

“Hmm?” she asked, grimacing. “You always try and act so... sweet and playful with all your catches?” She laughed, stepping aside for a moment.

She looked around the den.

“Serves its purpose. Keeps me away from prying neighbors and insolent packmates.” She rolled her eyes. “They can't just take a subtle hint....”

Frowning, she looked out the den then back to Adrian.

“So....” She approached again, leaving some distance so Adrian would have to close it himself. She raised a brow, smiling just the smallest bit, enticing him to come to her.

Adrian seemed silent in this scenario, as he didn't seem to react when she moved and started to talk about privacy.


He tried to process his own plan, as he halfway listened to Nars, before she approached him again. Oh so she thought he was sweet and playful, oh she had no idea.


“ Oh?..i can adjust....”


He growled, as he approached, but maybe not as expected, as he in a soft but gentle enough motion managed to swoop the female down on the ground, facing him, as if her words had made him change plans, or some of them.


“ you see love….I can either be mild and careful….or rough and risky, I believe I mentioned that the last time….just as that you don't play games…..- the fun part is, I'm not playing games…..”


He muttered as he rather placed himself above of her, no place to go now, but the maybe surprising part, he didnt do anything yet, as he rather started with his own courting like behaviour, but not to the last part, as his nose went from her throat, almost all the way down before he stopped.


“ I even start thinking, you cant handle it….by how you are now”


He hummed inbetween, before in his stop he was silent, just watching her own  reaction.

Nars didn't fight Adrian when he roughly pushed her down – she in fact liked it, oddly enough. She even questioned her own passive behavior but only for a moment.

It didn't matter and she didn't care, not now.

She was silent, saying nothing as he moved around her. Her heart began to beat faster.

Can't handle it...? She rolled her eyes and looked around and up at him.

“You keep saying so,” she whispered, “but I think you're all talk. Why don't you show me what you mean?”

Adrian smirked, before a thought in his head seemed to catch him, he was doing this, for his usually own game, he was only one game, always had been.


Why did it suddenly seem wrong? No it didn't, he hadn't gotten any restrictions really then to insert some sort of aid in revenge for Nahimana against this eyesore male, he wasn't committed to anything, he had simply offered his service, and he would still be able to do his own doings, right?


He seemed to be lost In thought, before he suddenly stepped off, taking a few steps away, he wasn't even sure, why wasn't he sure?! It drove him mad, he had made no vows of not doing his usual


“ fffffff…..- is it going to be worth my while though?......Tell me, why you should be the lucky one and not the other flatfoot?.....- I must say you are driving my inner senses mad and If I had a wit of sense I would have stopped way before but oh when the hunger is present, it needs to be fed….satisfied"


He growled through his own teeth,,in his own irritation, walking over to the female, he licked his lips again, he wanted do badly, but some nerve made him stand still, he could feel the craving erupt. He needed it, now, as he looked at Nars, motioning for her to get back up, as he couldn't really do anything but to try to shake what some sudden idea of broken trust appeared in his head, there was nothing wrong with this, he was only making sure of his own needs and deals, and none of them said who and who he couldn't do.


“.....But then….you left me with denial. And I'm also so,tempted…..- Show me how you do it, and will assure I'll do what you wish for.”

When Adrian stepped aside, Nars stood in surprise.

“Of course I'm worth your while,” Nars muttered. “You followed me all the way here, change your mind suddenly?” She smirked. “Decided you're not sure you can keep up?”

At his mention of Nahimana, she rolled her eyes again, pacing beside the male.

“If you'd rather waste your energies on her, go right ahead – I can't see why we both aren't an option.” She flicked her tail. “I should also warn you that I'm a much better catch,” she sighed. “You think I ask all my... suitors... how experienced they are?” she teased.

“Satisfied?” Nars growled lustily. “Then why are we waiting?”

Her stomach was in tangles and her nerves on edge – on fire. She needed this now.

The male stood there, dolling out more words about his needs and still not doing anything.

Fine.

Setting her brows straight, as he finished his last statement, Nars strode over, not giving Adrian another moment to waste.

It was his turn to be pushed more roughly about as she moved him against the wall, into a position that satisfied her. Moving into place, she looked around behind to him.

“Go on,” she hissed.

Finally... it had been far too long for her.
